Meet Phoenix

Welcome Home.

You may know me as the author of The Cycle Ends Here.

But before I was a writer, I was simply someone trying to survive storms I never asked to walk through.

The Phoenix isn't who I've always been.

It's who I became after learning that healing isn't about pretending the fire never happened—it's about discovering that peace can still grow afterward.

If you've found yourself here, I hope you find more than a book.

I hope you find a place to breathe.

Meet Phoenix

Phoenix A. Solace isn't the woman who has all the answers.

She's simply someone who spent years surviving storms before finally learning that peace wasn't something waiting somewhere in the distance.

It was something she could choose.

The Cycle Ends Here wasn't written to tell you how to heal.

It was written to remind you that healing is possible.

If you've ever felt like you carried too much... loved too deeply... stayed too long... or wondered whether peace was meant for everyone except you...

You're in the right place.

This porch wasn't built because life is easy.

It was built because everyone deserves somewhere they can sit for a while without having to explain themselves.

No expectations.

No pretending.

Just a quiet place to breathe.

Come on in. Pull up a chair.

You're safe here.

The Woman Behind Phoenix

There was a time when survival was all I knew.

For years, life was measured by getting through one more day, one more conversation, one more storm.

Like so many others, I learned to become what everyone needed. The dependable one. The strong one. The safe place.

Somewhere along the way, I forgot that I deserved those things too.

Healing didn't happen all at once.

It happened quietly.

In boundaries that felt impossible to set.

In forgiveness that wasn't always about reconciliation.

In learning that peace isn't found when life becomes perfect—it begins the moment we decide our past no longer gets the final word.

That's why I chose the name Phoenix A. Solace.

Not because I've lived a perfect story.

Because I know what it feels like to rise from the ashes of one.

This Porch was never built around a book.

It was built around a hope.

That maybe someone who arrives here carrying too much will leave carrying a little less.

If that's you...

Welcome home.

Why The Porch Exists

The Phoenix Porch exists to be something the internet doesn't often make room for anymore.

A place without pressure.

Without pretending.

Without needing to earn your seat.

Whether you spend five minutes in the Quiet Corner, read a chapter of the memoir, or simply stop by for a moment of peace, I hope you leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.

The coffee is on.

The rocking chairs are waiting.

And the porch light will always be on for you.

Before You Go

If this is your first visit, thank you for stopping by.

I hope you've already discovered what I hoped this place would become—not just a website, but somewhere you can slow down, breathe a little deeper, and remember that you're not walking through life alone.

Whether you come back tomorrow or months from now, the porch light will still be on.
